This book unites for the first time the photographic and video works of Oliver Boberg, a German artist born in 1965 in Herten.
His photographs of underpasses and building shells show emotionally charged non-locations places so familiar that they could be anywhere-andnowhere and his videos of 2002/03 feature nocturnal urban and landscape vedutas which seem to be based on film scenarios.
This absence of people and also of reality itself will be exhibited at the Kunstverein Hannover (August 30 - October 5, 2003), the Fotomuseum Den Haag (March 27 - June 20, 2004) and at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco, (April 16 - July 10, 2005).
