Central European Avant-Gardes : Exchange and Transformation, 1910
Timothy O. Benson, Peter Nadas
This book accompanied the exhibition organized by the Los Angeles
County Museum of Art (march 10 - june 2) which was also featured
in Europe in Munich (july 7 - october 10) and Berlin (november 2002
to february 2003).
Central European Avant-Gardes examines the cross-fertilization among
the artistic avant-garde movements in the Czech Republic, Germany,
Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the former Yugoslavia during the evolution
of modernism between 1910 and 1930.
A great sum which helps us to a better understanding of Modern Art.
